About
I am currently in the fifth year of a joint PhD program in Mathematics between the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and Monash University (Clayton campus). My doctoral research is supervised by Prof. Ricardo Ruiz Baier, Prof. Amiya Kumar Pani, and Prof. Harsha Hutridurga. I obtained my Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics from Ballygunge Science College, University of Calcutta, where I specialized in Abstract Harmonic Analysis and Fourier Analysis.
Research Interests
My research interests lie in core areas of numerical analysis and scientific computing, in particular:
- Robust analysis and design of mixed finite element methods
- Building robust preconditioners
- Perturbed saddle-point problems
- Nonlinear PDEs
- Fluid flow in porous media
